NITFS Technical Board (NTB)
The NITFS Technical Board (NTB) is the technical focal point for imagery and gridded geospatial data standardization activities within the GEOINT community. The NTB serves as a technical board and still imagery focus group within the Geospatial Intelligence (GEOINT) Standards Working Group (GWG) of the Joint Enterprise Standards Committee (JESC).
The mission of the NTB is to facilitate development, selection, adoption, profiling, documentation, application, implementation, and testing of standards essential to establishing interoperability and quality for still imagery, gridded data, associated metadata, and other related aspects within the National System for Geospatial-Intelligence (NSG).
Meeting Schedule: The NTB meets as a community three times a year in February, June and October. Our forums are typically unclassified, open to US and NATO representatives, and require registration in advance of the meeting. Generally once a year, the NTB holds a classified forum. For more information about our meeting schedule, see the NTB Calendar or contact the NTB Chair.
